of our notification systems business. With this acquisition, we now
offer a comprehensive suite of mass notification systems, unified to offer the
industry's first fully pervasive mass notification solution.

“The combined acquisitions of Wheelock in 2006, MadahCom earlier this year, and
now Roam Secure extends our Cooper Notification platform to provide a fully
integrated and multi-layered approach to emergency mass notification,” said
Cooper Industries Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Kirk S. Hachigian.

notification solution coupled with regional text alerting, Cooper now offers

| Roam Secure’s flagship, patent-pending product is the “RSAN” (Roam
Secure Alert Network). RSAN offers first responder (EMA), continuity of
operations (COOP), and citizen warning system (CWS) editions. Each offering is
uniquely tailored to meet the requirements of front line emergency personnel,
campus administrators, enterprise security managers and administrative
officials at the local, state and federal levels. RSAN is also bundled with an
industry-first solution called “RSIX” (Roam Secure Information Exchange).
Through RSIX, existing RSAN deployments can be seamlessly connected to one

notify recipients across an unlimited spectrum via email, pager, cell phone,
blackberry, landline phone, computer desktop, XM Satellite Radio, fax, fire
